As passionate explorer I want to share my love for the environment, animals and different cultures. Thanks to the era of technology I have been able to stand in front of whole schools & classrooms answering questions about exploring, climate change, dogmushing and extreme cold.

I offer a simple, free outreach programme that can be as easy as livestream meeting with your class/school or more structured semester long projects where students can interact directly with me & my various expeditions & projects.

In this era, it is possible to get an internet connection just about anywhere on the planet. This is all that is needed to bring live, streamed content direct to your classroom, school or group and they can source from a tent in the high Arctic on an expedition with my dogs, a beach we are collecting plastics on in Norway or far out at sea in my sailboat. I`M HAPPY TO WORK WITH TEACHERS ON DEVELOPING SEMESTER LONG PROJECTS ON A VARIETY OF TOPICS FROM ARCTIC EXPLORERS, REGIONAL SCIENCE, ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND HISTORY, AND, FOR A VARIETY OF AGE GROUPS. AS THE EDUCATOR, YOU DECIDE HOW BEST TO UTILISE MY TIME, LOCATIONS AND INPUT. EQUALLY, AND MANY OF THE LIVESTREAMS I DO, ARE “ONE OFF” SIMPLE CONNECTIONS WHERE YOU THE TEACHER, HELP A GROUP PREPARE QUESTIONS FOR ME AND I RESPOND TO THOSE DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR LIVESTREAM. I HAVE VARIOUS PRE-PREPARED PDF FILES YOU CAN DOWNLOAD ON SEVERAL TOPICS SO YOU CAN STRUCTURE A MULTI AGE GROUP PROJECT.

Introducing the Arctic is easy with so much to choose from. You can invite me to simply talk about my huskies…I can do that for hours !…or, we can create a livestream about famous Arctic explorers, or how the Inuit are the masters of Arctic living, we can talk about ocean currents, plastic pollution, Whales, Wolves & Bears, you choose and I`ll compile a short project, tailored to your needs.
